iPad Mini opens and closes apps on its own

After a screen replacement on an iPad mini Siri continually audibles and apps open and close on their own without touching the digitizer. I have restored the device to see if that would clear out the gremlin but it still runs by itself.

Anyone have any ideas of why this would do this?

Answer this question I have this problem too

The iPad mini have many booby traps in them... There could be several reasons you are having this problem, the most common is not using kapton tape around the edges. The goals is to look at the original screen and make sure all the same areas are taped off on the new screen. The second issues is using cheap screens on eBay will only cause you problems, they have the silver edges the good screens have gold or cooper. The mini is not a easy device to fix!!

Your problem is most likely that the screen you bought didn't come equipped with Kapton Tape, Tape the bottom of the digitizer on the inside leaving out only the home button. Hope that works
