iPod disabled try again in 60 mins

i restored my ipod touch, and it didnt do anything, it just went straight back onto the passcode lock screen. I restored it because i had forgot my passcode, and now i have tried to type it in, it still says 'ipod disabled try again in 60 mins' what should i do?

What iOS were you running before you forgot your passcode? as iOS 7 has a new feature that doesn't allow you to reset it if its linked and locked with an Apple ID. you'll need to log into your iCloud account and disable 'find my phone' for that device, then try it again. the passcode is set up for security, so you are not meant to be able to erase it to bypass it now, unless you are on an earlier iOS, then it is possible.
