Top display screen is yellow.

I've seen many problems with users having their bottom touch screen slightly off yellow. I know this is a manufacturer issue and Nintendo acknowledges it as so but will not fix it. What happens when the TOP display screen is slightly off yellow?

The edges of the screen are slightly off yellow and fade lighter towards the center of the screen. I bought the DSI used and broken as the display ribbon was broken (the seller did not specify why it was broken but I found that as the issue and replaced it). Everything seems to be working fine now, but I am positive the top screen is not supposed to be off yellow. Has anyone had this issue or know how to fix it?
