Changed LCD and Digitezer, now dipslay is black

Please help with this:

My Nexus cracked and the digitizer didn't work.

So I got a new LCD&Digitizer, replaced as per instructions - now Touch screen is OK, I can click and hear beep. The display however stays black. Sometimes I can see in the very dark something on it (the hour for example). Most of the time I see nothing.

Can you suggest what is wrong?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Try reconnecting the LCD cable, if not return the screen.

Good Luck!

Try turning the device off - then back on. That's generally the problem on other devices.

It sounds like your backlight isn't working. A simple restart will hopefully fix that.

I have found the solution. Change the lcd / video cable and it will be all fine then. Just did it today and it worked.
