Display black after screen repair

So I thought I would be smart and try fix my own screen after smashing it, I replaced everything correctly as I followed a video on how to do so, but now my display doesn't load and I'm not even sure if my phone is turned on, when I plug the phone into the mains to charge it, it vibrates twice every 4 seconds or so, constantly and doesn't stop. Anyone have any idea as of what it might be, I'm a bit new to the inside of an iphone so try make it easy to follow haha, thanks.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Either your new screen is faulty or you damaged the flex cables. This is definately a screen problem.

Switch it on with the screen separated from the case a little bit so you can take a look inside to see if the backlight is turning on, it probably isn't
