new bezel and screen
I am replacing my new screen and bezel but it didnt come with the home button. i had to try to take the old home button off the old bezel but was unable to....help anybody

Is this what you see on the old bezel?
If so, the metal part has been placed over plastic studs and then the plastic has been heated and flattened to secure the assembly in place.
Assuming the new bezel has the studs, check the new bezel and remove the blobs that correspond to the studs on the new Bezel just in case something is attached to the metal piece other than the bezel. Shave off the black blobs with a sharp blade and lift of the metal assy. Then install on the new Bezel and use a soldering iron or similar to heat the studs and flatten them with a spudger or screwdriver. donot place your iron on the studs, hold it close to soften the plastic not melt it with direct contact
