Does the left I/O board have anything to do with the LCD/Graphics or is all taken care of by the motherboard. I want to replace my left I/O due to a broken headphone jack, but the one I have I pulled out of a friends computer, had issues with the LCD screen. Thanks much for your help :) Chris

Yes the board does have things to do with the screen and a bad one will cause screen problems. I've had problems with them when they were not tightened down all the way.
