No light after changing the inverter board

Hi,

I have a Macbook of mid-2009 (A1181) and the backlight doesn't work. I changed the inverter board this morning and the cable of the inverter board and, I still have no light (if I press quickly F1/F2 I have light)...I don't have much money but I want to repair it because he works even though I have not backlight! Someone have an idea of what could be the problem ?

Thank you very much !!

Hook it up to an external monitor. If you get a picture, I would question the source of the new parts.

You'll need an adapter to convert the systems display port connector to the monitor/TV you have.
