Change Logic Board from 2.8 to 2.66 GHz

Is it possible to switch the logic board in my 2.8 out with a 2.66 without problems... ? If there are any issues, what should I be aware off ? Hope you can help! All the best Carsten

As long as its within the same series of system (size & year) when they where released (i.e. MacBookPro5,1) it should be possible. Generally its best to stay with the same board the system came with (for resale value)

May I ask why you are going to a less powerful board?
