Replaced Audio/power cable. Now none of them work.

My lock/power button stopped working so I ordered a new cable and button. Spent 3 hours painstakingly installing the new cable tonight, and now the lock/power, mute/ringer, and both volume buttons are all not working. They all have a physical "click" but no response. Clearly i did something wrong. Thoughts?

Turns out I had the connector under the motherboard. Wasn't even connected! Working properly now! Thanks for your help.

If you make sure the new cable is good, you can check the connector between the cable and the mother board. May be you loosed the connectors carelessly.

There are three points you need to check.

First, you need to check whether the cable is broken or not .

Second, if the cable is in good condition, you need to check the installed position is correct.
