Lock button not working after ribbon cable replacement

My lock button stopped working at one point so I

Ordered the new cable and put it in, it's exactly how it was before, the volume and vibrate switches work fine but the lock button doesn't register as if being clicked, I can change the volume and switch between silent and loud but my screen won't lock when I click the button.. I'm super stumped.
