Where does this phone store Battery information?

I believe that andriod phones store the battery information onboard the phone. How many charges it has taken and stuff. That is why some people reset their battery information when they install a new battery.

Do iPhones store any information on the battery? Or is it kept on the phone itself?

Hi David,

The battery do not contain any memory, so this kind of information can be gathered and stored on the phone. You may be reffering to battery cablibration where after a battery change you do this to teach the phone the new condition, so the power meter will be showing more correct.
