wont work or restore
My iPod says it needs to be restored butwhenever i try to restore it nothing happens and then it says i need to restore it again...what should i do

take a look at the dock connector - maybe there is a lint in it
does the iPod show some signs of charging when you connect it ?
does the computer show any signs when the iPod is connected ?

You may have a loose harddrive connector inside your iPod. Have you attempted any repairs on your iPod? If so the connector might be loose; if not, it might be that your harddrive has died and needs replacing.
