Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

I am 99% sure the problem is not the microswitch. Just add a shim similar to the solution here: Link text The plastic material on the mouse is weak and loses contact to the switch. This should solve your problem. This only took me 10 minutes to fix it.

I had same problem with my one. When opening the device I found out that the microswitch deformed the inner part of the mouse button, a notch was clearly visible, which will cause the loose of physical contact. In order to fix the problem you could a) add some material as described in the video or b) just plane the surface with help of grinding paper or a knife, which is more easy, since there is no need to add some material by gluing.

I just started on learning German. Did you mean the left button is starting to fail?

Does this look like the microswitch?

Yes, your right, it ist the left Button. With one clicki it makes multiple clicks, that really has driven me crazy.

And thanks for the answer from Shudushi: "Yieppie it is a Zippy".

I Think it is the DA-P2L-OT-Z. Now I have to find a reseller here in Germany where I can buy it.
