Can early 1.66 core duo be upgraded to 802.11n airport express card?

I have the early 1.66ghz core duo mac mini that came with 802.11a/b/g but not n.

Can I install airport extress card from the later model that supports 802.11n to my old mac mini

The existing card has 2 antena connectors (main and aux) but only main connector is used. What is the aux connector for?
