The up arrow key continuously clicks. Is there a way to inhibit this key in the operating system? An easy way to clean the keyboard? I believe I spilled Ice cream on it years ago...

Have you tried popping off the key caps and giving the area a good clean? To start with make sure your system is fully off. Then get some distilled water (not tap!) with a cotton swab (Q-Tip) wipe down the area once your sure all of the water soluble stuff is off go over the areas again this time with a high grade isopropyl alcohol (85% or better).
