up grade hard drive dose not work

tried to up grade to a one TB and it won't take

Can you explain more fully how you went about upgrading your drive? It sounds like you missed a step or two.

Depending on your specific machine (you gave a very generic description) you may have bought the wrong drive… If you have an older machine the new 6Gb/s drives won't work they are too fast.

You also must format a new drive GUID before you can install the OS.
