Pink and Green Hue in LCD with artifacts

Have a customer with an A1395. He tried a digitizer replacement himself and managed to bugger everything on it. Not only did he slash his WiFi antenna and Power/Vol Ribbon cables, but he managed to do something to the board itself. When powered on, black is replaced with green, and gradients are PINK. I checked all the connections, and even went as far as swapping the board into a known working unit, getting the same display results. Anyone have any thoughts?

That is pretty impressive. Check to make sure that the receptor for the LCD cable isn't loose. The customer might have tried to pull it out without releasing it first. If so it might be a new connector that is needed.
