I want to replace my graphics card

hi i have dell inspiron N5010 with the following configuration

System Model: Inspiron N5010

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU M 430 @ 2.27GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.3GHz

Memory: 5120MB RAM

Available OS Memory: 4982MB RAM

Card name: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470

Manufacturer: ATI Technologies Inc.

Chip type: ATI display adapter (0x68E0)

DAC type: Internal DAC(400MHz)

Display Memory: 2737 MB

Dedicated Memory: 502 MB

Shared Memory: 2235 MB

Current Mode: 1366 x 768 (32 bit) (60Hz)

Monitor Name: Generic PnP Monitor

i want to replace new grafics card 1 gb AMD Radeon HD 6630M is it possible?

gopi krishna, your " graphics card" is actually a chipset that is part of the system board, it cannot be upgraded.

You can not integrate any additional card into your laptop motherboard.

The gpu is actually dedicated not integrated so maybe it can be change my advice will be to write to DELL as that is what i'm about to do because i have same product

Did anyone find a fix for N5010 graphics card issues.

I had the same issue

Had my laptop reflowed .. it lasted a couple of yrs after that same problem

Then some repair guys from kolkata somehow changed it with a intel gpu for INR 4000 and it's working fine now.
