Is there hope? My MBP wont boot, or wont chime.

Hi everyone! So about a year and a half ago my MBP 13" suffered liquid damage as a result of someone carelessly spilling coffee on it while I was using the restroom at my local café. Doing as most people would do I took it in to Apple store only to walk out livid for the fact that they said I was better off buying a new laptop and offering no real explanation why. I was discouraged and cut it for a loss but then I stumbled across this website and learned I could simply disassemble the MBP and thoroughly clean it with denatured alcohol and allow it to dry, this worked but upon using a janky charger there was a spark between the charger and the Magsafe adapter and wouldn't you know it I'm back at square one. Upon turning my MBP on the display turns light blue but nothing else happens, no chime or fan.

Please offer me your wisdom people, I need it.

I think you'll need to open the system up and do a good visual inspection on both sides of the logic board.

From the sounds of it the one or more of the FET's have blown. You should see some burnt marks and hopefully the logic board didn't suffer too much damage here. If it did not survive, you'll need to replace it. Otherwise, you might be able to repair it your self or get someone local with good soldering skills to make the repairs.

Take some good hires pics and post them here so we can see the damage areas or any areas which you think still have damage from the coffee spill.
