Need an answer asap! Just replaced screen, and broke digitizer cable!

So I've had a cracked iphone 4 screen for a while now, so the other day I decided to save myself some money and replace it myself. So it had seemed to be working for the whole time, and right at the end when I had to connect the digitizer cable to the mobo, it had gotten stuck under a piece of metal of something, so when I tried pulling it out, it snapped. I then finished re-screwing my phone together, and when I plugged my phone into itunes, my phone was recognized and everything showed up as if the phone was still working(which it technically is). The thing is though, when I press the power button, nothing happens... When I hold down the home button, voice control DOES come on. I want to know if buying ANOTHER new screen and replacing it with my current one(the one with the broken digitizer cable) will fix the issue of the blank screen...

When I say nothing happens, NOTHING happens... no backlit screen or anything.

I need a response soon because Iplan on ordering saturday shipping, which is only available until like 8pm est tonight

Answer this question I have this problem too

if the cable snapped you need to order a new one. One is for the touch, one is for the display. You must of broken the ribbon for the display since nothing shows even though the phone is on
