iPad Mini backlight is not working properly.
I bought an iPad Mini with a known defect, the backlight isn't working at all. You can make out items on the screen if you shine a light at it, you can hear sounds and there are no signs of abuse or disassembly. I want to fix the backlight and hopefully get it working again. If anyone here knows ways to resolve this issue, I would be very appreciative if you shared them.
Things to note:
-LCD seems to be working fine. You can make out objects on the screen with a flashlight or a lamp shining in the direction of the iPad.
-Touch input is working fine.
-iPad has already been restored.
-Power is at 100%
-Speakers are working.
-Completely operational besides the loss of the backlight.
-There is no warranty to work with. It was purchased over ebay for parts/repair.
Any help would be highly appreciated! Thanks!
