Am I able to install a 400Mb/s firewire port?

I am in need of a 400Mb/s or greater firewire port to connect a digital mixing console to my mid-2010 2.4 GHz macbook. I know that on the macbook pro's they have an expansion slot in the side but on this model it does not. Is there any possible way of connecting a firewire adapter on the inside of the casing or something?

Sorry to say, no, your system does not have any means to add a FireWire port (internally or externally). This model was the low end of the Mac laptops and did not have any provision to even modify.
