Will a 4TB hard drive work in an iMac emc 2428?

To prevent run away fans when changing brands of hard drive you will need OWC In-line Digital Thermal Sensor for iMac 2011 Hard Drive Upgrade. Here's where to get it:

That will work, however, you need to have Apple do the upgrade or talk to OWC about it. That requires a special cable from them.
