Disk will not play, light is not red or yellow

The disk can be loaded fine and the console will release the disk fine, the disk will not play the game or DVD's. The lights on the front do not appear to be red or yellow so from what I read I do not think it is the red or yellow ring of death? I would like to add when you load in the game the console will take the game and load it and in a few minutes the machine will make a small clicking noise and nothing happens.
