How to repair or replace MacBook Unibody (Model No. A1342) Fan

MacBook Unibody (Model No. A1342) Fan

I know the problem - the fan is shot. Grinding noises which getting increasingly constant (and we're heading into summer here in Australia)

If I cannot get the part as a spare how do I attack it to repair what sounds like a bearing problem?

Here's the guide on replacing the fan: MacBook Unibody Model A1342 Fan Replacement

It's probably Apple part #922-9530, but to be sure please give us the last three figures of your serial number to make sure we have the correct model.
