Pins on cpu holder (part U100) look bent, can this be fixed?

I bought a dead 27" Imac i5 EMC 2374 to try and fix, I may have found another problem with the computer, I need to know if the pins on the cpu cradle / holder should look like they do (image attached) or whether they are supposed to be all uniform.

is it possible to either replace the part (u100) or bend them carefully back into place with a needle?

any advice appreciated

I managed to use a scalpel and high-res images to view and bend all the pins back to their original position. 2 of the pins were at a slight angle, 1 of the pins was bent right back and i had to bend 2 normal pins to get back at it. after that i adjusted them all to original position. Mac functions normally after that. not bad for a $20 "dead" imac purchase ^^

When I've run across this I use a pair of mosquito hemostats to straighten them and then finish by carefully and gently inserting it. http://cdn.opentip.com/Home-Kitchen/Mosq...
