Can I use iOpener and iSclack to open iPod touch?

I'm going to be replacing an iPod touch 4th generation front panel. I'll be using iFixit's guide, but I wonder if it will be more practical to use an iOpener to soften the adhesive and iSclack to pop it open, instead of using the recommended heat gun and prying picks.

Thanks.

I have successfully used the iOpener to open an iPod touch, and it worked well. I guess an iSclack could technically be used to open an iPod, but I personally would not use it because of the adhesive. The best way to open it is probably by using the iOpener and prying picks.
