MacBook Air asks to shut down randomly

My MacBook Air worked find but now I can't leave it for more than 5 sec before it asks me if I want to shut down I have tried smc/ pram restart and it still does it everything works fine and there is no physical damage any info would be great it also tends to restart on its own as well

I think your on the right track here - Lets review some basics on Lithium-ion batts which might explain why you're having problems.

The next thing here is having a good tool to monitor your battery. A good free tool is coconut which you can download here coconutBattery 2.8.

After cycling the battery, see how it goes and let us know if you still have issues with it.
