mickey seltzer, I would start off with a new battery. After that, re-evaluate your issue. Of course, make sure that you have no apps running that will drain your battery.

Seems like your battery has gone could be because of being over charged or has completed its life so all you need is a new replacement battery.

I have an old iphone 4 and it was rapidly losing its charge each time after it was fully charged. I bought a new battery from Ifixit.com and successfully replaced it. The phone works fine, but the battery still seems to drain quite quickly. I was thinking the new battery would solve the problem. My next move may be to back up and restore. Any advice would be appreciated.

I also have the same problem with my iPhone. Bought secondhand, have had it for 3 months and now I seem to be charging it 3 times a day. Do I need a new battery or do I need to reset the iPhone? Please help because I don't want to be chatting to someone and it blobs out on me.

Thank you in advance.
