Coffee on Keyboard. keys and trackpad clicking no longer work...

What parts will I need to replace? The keys no longer work or light up, and the trackpad works other than not being able to one or two finger click with it. The trackpad button still works to click

You need a new Topcase and Keyboard.

The logic board may have been damaged. Does the computer start up? If so, does a USB keyboard work? I would recommend running Tech Tools Deluxe (downloadable on Apple's website) to test all the components of the logic board (and other parts). If so, then theres a pretty good chance that its just the keyboard and mousepad thats broken and it just needs to be replaced.

Alright, top case and keyboard it is. I ran tech tool and everything passed (besides volume structure).

One last question. Will only A1229 top case/keyboards fit, or do any other 17'' models have compatible parts?

Thanks a ton for the responses.

You will have to get a topcase and keyboard to match your model. They all have slight differences (cable).
