MacBook Pro is dead. Unable to boot.

I was working with mac book pro and suddenly it went blank and stopped responding to any keys. I had enough battery left when this happened. Now when I plug the charger, I could not see any led light on it.

I have tried resetting SMC and other techniques such as hold power button for 10 seconds etc ..

I bought it a month back!!

Does anyone have any clue? Is the laptop's power system gone bad ?

You'll have to open it obtain the proper tools for this. Study the Guide, not just read it... many DIYers destroy their laptops by pulling connectors off boards & cables because they didn't study the directions and notes about how to properly disconnect them.

Remove the battery and let it sit overnight with no power connected at all. Reconnect the battery and charger (you don't have to screw everything down to test this) try a reboot. IF it's good shutdown and finish reassembly.

If this answer is acceptable please remember to return and mark it.

I removed the battery connection and then plugged in the charger. After pressing the power button, it turned on. It took a while to get past the grey screen. Thanks for your reply.

If this is a new machine, it is covered under Apples warranty program. They are very good and very fast even if it has to be mailed in the total time is usually four days. Just give them a call:
