when replacing my hard drive to a sshd drive i damaged the vertical sync ribbon of the screen.is it possible to replace or fix the ribbon?
my mac keeps making a high pitched noise now but works fine.I just think it will not be ok to leave it like this.

You do not want to leave it things like that never get better, only worse. You'll probably have to google shop for the part.
