2012 13" MacBook Air with 2013 battery compatibility

Hi,

I got a 500 cycles battery from a 2012 13" Macbook Air and I'm thinking about replacing for a new one.

It is said on the store from this website that the 2013 13" Macbook Air battery is compatible with the mid 2012 model.

I noticed that the 2012 model has a 7.3V vs a 7.6V from the 2013 models.

Is it OK to replace it considering this voltage difference?

Thanks!

Yes - that's what "its compatible" means.

the description of the 2013-battery states:

"Replacement battery compatible with all 1.3 or 1.7 GHz (Mid 2013), 1.4 or 1.7 GHz (Early 2014), and 1.6 GHz or 2.2 GHz (Early 2015) 13" MacBook Airs, and backward compatible with 1.8 or 2.0 GHz (Mid 2012) 13" MacBook Air."

and that says is all.
