Touch Screen/Digitizer not working

Hello All

Wondering if you could help me

My Son decided to vomit into my phone and into my pocket today (i love him)

Initially he puked ito the top and into the pocket i immediatley took the phone out and cleaned it and then in my wise wisdom put it back into the same pocket

this ensured the touch buttons stopped working, i took it apart and cleaned it with 99% alcohol anf put it back together and everything works except the touch does not respond

Please can somebody show me a photo of the connector responsible for the touch on the phone so i can clean that as well

At the moment i took it apart again and have cleaned it again and will be leaving it to dry overnight

Ali, check the guide on here. Attached image shows the digitizer cable being removed from the connector. Hope this helps, good luck.

Hi

Thank you for the answer however to ensure others are not confused

I think youll find that cable in the picuture is for the power and volume button, i located the digitizer cable its on the bottom of the screen
