I have an Emerson microwave oven it's about 4yrs. old.it is a 1000 watt oven.it was working fine one minute then it just stop working in the middle of cooking. I checked the power cord and the wall socket,all is fine with those.

first of all - do you have any experiences with electronics ??
they can really be dangerous
where there any odd noises coming from the microwave right before it went out ?
maybe a fuse died and that causes the problem
what emerson model do you have ?
maybe i can find more informations about this device
