Repairs for most tablet computers. Because of their small size and frequent use of adhesive, tablet repair is often more involved than laptop repair.

How do I remove the rear case on a Zeepad FlytouchX Tablet?

This FlytouchX tablet is the 9.7 inch tablet as seen at this URL = http://www.zeepad.net/flytouch%20X.html

It has two problems:

1. Charge jack needs repaired.

2. The tablet USB connection is not recognized on any of three different notebook PCs. Since USB is faulty I can not update its USB driver.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi. Thanks but my Flytouch X has no screws. The back is wrapped around the internal boards and seems to be slotted into the glass front. There is no indents or visible spots where a tool can be inserted between the glass and the back. If I put it face up on a pad and press out on the long sides at the edge of the cover it seems to spring open at the mid point. However without being able to do the same at the corners of the case, I am afraid the back will distort. Any ideas?

Sorry! An hour of searching netted me nothing on repairing, teardown or battery replacement.
