1 Replaced LCD, now it will not sleep on lid close?
I was down in Nicaragua for 3 months and while I was down there I accidentally knocked my Macbook Pro over the side of a building. It fell 20-25Ft. Nothing was broken on it except for the LCD. I ordered a whole new lid assembly ( The old one was way to bent to fix and I originally had a glossy 1440X900 and they sent me a High Res antiglare model). I replaced the screen today and now it will not sleep when the lid is closed. (Even after the accident I could push down on the lid and I would go to sleep.) But this one now it closes flush and "pretty" but does not sleep. When replacing the lid assembly I did have a little "wiggle room" for the assembly. Meaning that it allowed me the ability move the lid around and get it centered on the base. Could it be the reason it no longer sleeps on lid close? ( I also checked all the internet sharing options and things like that and it is all off.)

It was the sleep magnet not being there. I tore apart my old screen and took the magnet. I then took it and taped it in side of my case on the lid. You can't see it but my case also doesn't sit flush to the side of the screen. Im in contact with the company I bought it from and hopefully they will replace it!
