MacBook 5 Beep Sound not booting up.

Hello

my macbook gives a 5 beep sound on booting time and not booting up after this.

its working before suddenly hangup i forcefully shutdown the mac as it is hangged after that this problem occurs please suggest what to do to fix this problem

I checked again and found 3 beep sound is coming. according to mayer

3 beeps = no good banks So what is solution now

Sounds like you pooched your CPU. Need a new logic board. OR if you dropped this machine before this started you could have knocked the RAM loose if you're hearing a single beep every 5 seconds repeating.

Reseat the RAM, replace the RAM.

The beeps are to tell you what's wrong, let us know what you're getting for a possible fix:

1 beep = no RAM installed

2 beeps = incompatible RAM types

3 beeps = no good banks

4 beeps = no good boot images in the boot ROM (and/or bad sys config block)

5 beeps = processor is not usable
