2.5" or 3.5" Hard Drive
Hi,
Would like to find out if the internal hard drive is a 2.5" or 3.5" drive as I can't really tell from the teardown photos.

Follow this guide iMac 27" (EMC 2546) HD replacement guide.
Apple only did minor alterations to the system from the '12 model. If I remember correctly it was a 3.5" Western Digital 1 GB Blue drive. The IFIXIT teardown for last years model appears to be missing! So I can't verify it. FYI the 21.5" model used a 2.5 drive.

Most probably this iMac model come with a 2.5" hard drive however you can 100% confirm it by downloading its service manual and also to make sure what is maximum hard size is supported by this machine.
