Screen Backlight gone after changing LED Panel

Block Image

Hi I have just replaced the LED panel on my Macbook Air 1.7ghz i5, Model MC965LL the panel is working fine as i can just make out the desktop but the backlight seems to have blown, i've put back on the old cracked screen to make sure and the backlight has def gone, could you tell me where on the logic board i can find the fuse to see if it's blown,

Please... i don't want to have to get a new logic board..

I'm willing to take the chance and and do the repair myself..

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

What is the model number on your logic board? What are the exact specs for your MBA and any chance you can post a High-Res image of your board? I tried to mark the location of the fuse, but can not zoom in enough to do so...;-)

You can try cleaning the jack where the flex cable goes in because sometime a poor contact with logic board also causes same thing. If your old screen is working fine with the back-light then your replacement screen is defiantly the faulty one.

I work in a mac repair shop, so i've tried 3 screens and 2 back light displays, unfortunately i've only got one logic board, all screens are working and i would doubt 2 back light display would be faulty, so i'd imagine it would have to be the logic board..

I also have a MacBook Air 2013 which had a spillage. I seems the WLED driver is faulty so also no backlight. Backlight fuse is okay. Does anyone know what the part number is for the WLED driver? Part shows number on top shows 2CXH D688.
