Why does my iPhone turn off when not plugged into charger?

My iPhone turns off every time I unplug it from the charger. As long as I have it plugged in, it works just fine. Even works with the charger in it and it is not plugged into a power source. I have to reboot the iPhone every time I use it if it is not on the charger. Can you help me with this please?

The charge port is bad it needs replacing.
