1 Have Satellite ready radio...what do I need to use it?
Have a Satellite ready radio. Want to know what is needed to make it functional. Parts, kit, etc?

Typically you'll need an under-dash gizmo, essentially it's the XMSirius radio, and your deck acts as a controller. Gonna cost more than a separate XM radio, but looks much better.

If it is "satellite ready" all you need to do is contact satellite radio people and set up an account and start paying for the service. My wife's new car came with it. We used it until the free first three months ran out and ended the service. She likes her CDs and I can find enough on the free channels to listen to or I can just enjoy some quiet.
