fuel gauge always registers Full.
Fuel gauge not working. Can't tell how much fuel in tank. Always registers FULL. How can I fix or how can it be fixed?
Thanks so much.

Does it just register Full or above Full? The gauge should read "E" when the resistance reaches 73 ohms, Mid scale at 22 ohms. You can test the gauge by putting a 22 Ohm resistor across the connector and putting the key in the ON or ACC position. Also use a 73 Ohm resistor for the E check. No connection at all will show the same as when the key is off. If that works your wires and gauge are good and the sender is bad.

Thanks. It is at F..not above. Believe it to be the sender. If it is, where is the sender and can it be replaced by me?
Thom
Sender is in the fuel tank attached to gas pump. If you can replace fuel pump you should be able to replace sending unit.
