MacBook stopped working after changing the lower case.

Macbook A1181 13 2.0GHz

I had a macbook with a busted lower case, I bought a macbook for spares (basically the casing), I followed the instructions and assembled everything in the new casing.. But, it is not booting up anymore...

Any ideas why?

I retraced all the steps again, all the connections are fine, also, if i try to jump start, macbook works. The keyboard works fine as well, but the power button doesnt respond (all other keys work!).

Any ideas as to what should i do?

I'd go back through the installation guide to see if you have missed anything, and/or give us more information as to what it is doing: MacBook Core Duo Lower Case Replacement
