"No Service" after teardown
Hi,
I found several topics regarding this issue but none of them help me solve my issue.
I did replace the dock flex cable, the power button flex and the home button flex on an iPhone 4.
After I did reassemble it does only get "No Service" and "Searching", it finds the sim card without any issues and I enter the pin code.
I have dissemble it twice and checked all the screws and cleaned all the areas that I can think of.
The blue resistor that many talks about is still there.
The date and time is correct in the phone.
The small gold prong is still there and I cant find any physical damage anywhere.
The antenna cable clicks and are properly connected and the metal clip covering the antenna connector also is properly connected.
I have make sure all 4 pins from the speaker get contact but still I cant get any reception.
Do you have any suggestions that might be related to the power or dock flex replacement?
What parts could be broken more then the blue resistor that affects the antenna?
Update
Also does anyone know what this metal piece does?

Im not sure its connected properly to the metal bracked that the power button is on.
Update 2
The blue resistor was loose, after closer inspection I saw that it wasnt properly connected even tho it was at the correct spot.
After removing it and solder the two points together it was working fine again.
Is this a good question?
