well about 3 weeks ago it quit working. it's old, i've replaced the headphone jack, & battery 2 times. the display screen went haywire a few months ago, but I was still able to listen to the songs on it. I have purchased a new iPhone and want to transfer the iPod music to my iPhone...

does it react in any way when you connect it to a computer (or better, does the computer react ?)

did you try to load it only via usb or do you tried a wall outlet charger?

by

it doesn't react to the computer, nor does the computer awknowledge it. it's not the cord either, if got a few of those. thanks for the help by the way...

well, i think it's a bigger problem with the device - if it's only about the music - get one of those that way you can connect the harddrive to your computer.

repairing it would be something for a professional, without the proper tools there is no chance to repair it - even if it's only a fuse that had to be changed or something like that

by

even with the iPod being dead, it would still transfer all the music to my computer hard drive, in which could be downloaded on my iPhone?
