restart after trying to reinstall os

I bought a MBA A1237 with no hard drive. Bought one and installed it with the tutorial u guys have here. i took to the genius bar for os reset and yje computer keep on restarting as soon as the installation initiate. What could be the problem here.

More details about the HD and install would help us help you. Could be that the reason the machine was sold without a HD is there was other damage to it.

Try holding the shift key down at reboot. Try holding the D key down. If one of those completes a boot cycle you could do more troubleshooting to try and identify the problem.
