Status of battery doesn't report properly

Hello All. Maybe someone has had this issues. My battery status doesn't report properly. It jumps around from 4 hours to 1 hour to 55 mins and so on. It also only charges to 99%. I've had the batter replace and have also reinstalled the OS. The charger has been replaced as wee

Any thoughts?

Google coconut battery. It's a little utility that gives you a lot more accurate reports on the state of your battery than the OS. It's free.

This is normal.....it depends on what your doing with your Mac at the time you look at the battery status. If you are running an app that uses a lot of power then your battery status will indicate that you have less time remaining than if you are just browsing the web etc. The indicator basically takes a snapshot of what you are doing at that time and stating approximately how much battery power you'd have left if you kept performing that specific function. Try even just turning your display brightness all the way down and wait a minute and you'll see that your battery time remaining indicator will increase by about a half-hour or so.

Hope this helps!
