Single unchanging line has appeared on the screen

Looking to see if anyone has had a similar issues. A single static line is now present across my display. It appears on the splash startup screen and is always present.

Is this something that can be fixed?

Sounds like a TAB error on the LCD. Connect an external monitor and see if the line displays on that as well. If it does not, one of the TAB on your LCD has failed and most likely a replacement will become necessary. If it does display on the external monitor, you have issues with the video portion of your logic board.
